Pratical measures for visiting the tour of the Giorgio Cini Foundation with the Borges Labyrinth and the Wood with the Vatican Chapels

Dear visitors,

The Giorgio Cini Foundation is opening for visitors , offering an open-air itinerary which allows you to enjoy the beauties of the island while favouring social distancing. In compliance with the anti-COVID 19 norms, your collaboration is fundamental and for this we ask you to follow the instructions below.

A fixed number of people are admitted at fixed times, so it is compulsory to book your ticket online

From 1 May, to access monuments, museums, galleries, parks, monumental gardens of the State, it will no longer be required to have the reinforced green pass or the basic one. The use of a mask is recommended.

For your visit an audio guide is available, included in the ticket price. Alternatively, to make the experience completely contactless and safe, you can download the app for the tour on your own smartphone (iOs or Android). The audio guides which you can rent onsite are sanitised each time they are used, but we advise you to use your own earbuds for the tour.

The meeting-point for the tour of the Giorgio Cini Foundation is at the San Giorgio Café. Once you get off the boat, go left, towards the lighthouse, then turn the corner and go straight; you will find the coffee shop on your right.

It is recommended to arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour departure to ensure punctuality. In case of delay, it will not be possible to have a refund but you can join the next tour or another tour, subject to availability..

The tour of the Giorgio Cini Foundation with the Borges Labyrinth lasts about 50 minutes and will be accompanied by an operator whom we ask you to follow throughout the itinerary. The tour of the Vatican chapels will last about 50 minutes and you are free to move around as you wish. Our operator will accompany you to the entrance to the wood of the Cini Foundation and at the end of the tour will accompany you to the exit. We ask you to respect the times in order to allow other visitors to do the tour under the same conditions.

The paths in the Wood with the Vatican Chapels may sometimes be bumpy, so we advise you to wear comfortable footwear and to take care as you proceed. We also invite you not to enter the areas which are not open to the public, not to run and to keep children under control.
